A resident noticed a persistent damp smell in her kitchen but could not identify a visible leak. The cabinet below the sink showed discolouration but no obvious drip.

The technician conducted a full leak diagnosis — inspecting the mixer tap, supply hose, and drain trap. Pressure was tested at the shut-off valve. A slow seep from a corroded hose fitting was identified.
