Lancar provides residential plumbing services in Kuala Lumpur and nearby areas. Services include tap and pipe leak diagnosis, drain and toilet clearing, and bathroom fixture installation. Service availability depends on technician scheduling and geographic reach. We reserve the right to decline a booking if it falls outside our service area or scope.

All content on the Lancar website — including text, design, logos, and images — is the property of Lancar or used with permission. You may not reproduce, modify, or distribute any content from this site without prior written consent. Your use of this website grants no ownership or licence over any Lancar intellectual property.

6. Pricing and Payment

All prices are in Malaysian Ringgit (RM) and are quoted before work begins. Standard service rates are:

If additional work is identified during a visit that falls outside the original scope, we will discuss any revised price with you before proceeding. Payment is due upon completion of the service. We accept cash and bank transfer. No payment is taken without your prior agreement on the final amount.

8. Cancellations and Rescheduling

You may cancel or reschedule a booking by contacting us at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the appointment may incur a call-out fee to cover technician travel and preparation time. We reserve the right to reschedule if unforeseen circumstances affect technician availability; we will notify you as early as possible in such cases.

9. Disclaimers

Our services are provided on a professional best-efforts basis. We do not provide assurances that plumbing issues will not recur after a service visit, as recurrence may be caused by factors outside our control (e.g. building infrastructure, water supply pressure, user habits). Diagnosis visits identify current issues based on accessible evidence at the time of inspection and may not reveal concealed or future faults.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Malaysian law, Lancar's liability for any claim arising from a service visit is limited to the amount paid for that specific service. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental losses, including loss of use of the property, loss of income, or damage arising from pre-existing plumbing conditions not disclosed to us prior to the visit.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Lancar harmless from any claims, costs, or liabilities arising from your failure to disclose relevant property information, your interference with work in progress, or any breach of these terms.

12. Termination

Either party may cancel a confirmed booking with reasonable notice. If we arrive at the property and are unable to carry out the work due to factors within the client's control (e.g. no access, unsafe conditions), a partial call-out fee may apply. These terms survive the conclusion of any service engagement.

13. Dispute Resolution

These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any dispute arising from a service booking or visit should first be raised with us directly via [email protected]. We aim to resolve all matters informally within 14 days. If a resolution cannot be reached, the matter may be referred to the appropriate Malaysian civil courts or a mutually agreed mediator.
